Practice Introductions
If there were only one thing I could do with all of our employees, I would spend a little time with them practicing introductions and stressing the importance of first impressions and word of mouth.
Employees should know how to introduce themselves, convey what the company does in a sentence or two and be memorable. They should know when to give a business card, and when to follow up.
If you do not work with employees, those that are not in sales and marketing will always say what they do, and not how the company helps it's clients.
